Jingle Bell Earrings Tutorial

on December 23, 2012

If you’re looking for a festive holiday accessory that you can easily make yourself, I have just the thing for you – jingle bell earrings. I’m not talking about sleigh bells hanging from your ears, but instead dainty, little, magical bells. My favorite part of wearing these earrings is hearing the lovely sound of bells all day, or night, long. It helps keep me in the holiday spirit!

Because craft stores now carry jingle bells in so many colors, these earrings can add the perfect pop to your holiday outfit. Shop outside the box, and pick a color other than silver or gold. While you’re shopping for supplies, browse some in the jewelry department. I know the findings can be overwhelming, but you should be able to find a variety of earring wires.

These earrings are so easy to make, even for the novice jewelry maker, that you’ll have them done in under 5 mins. You might even consider gifting them. Who wouldn’t be excited to receive a sweet pair of earrings in her stocking?

Supplies:

  • Small Jingle Bells
  • Earring Wires
  • Jump Rings
  • Needle Nose Pliers

To make these earrings, open a small jump ring with your pliers and slide a jingle bell onto it. Then attach the jump ring to the earring wire and close the jump ring with the pliers. Voila! You have yourself a festive and attractive pair of earrings. Happy holiday crafting!
