For several days, these super cute necklaces popped up every time I logged onto Pinterest. They looked fairly simple and involved using two things I’m very fond of: scrapbook paper and hardware. Figuring I must be meant to make them, I trotted on down to the craft store to get the one supply I was missing: Glossy Accents. I’ve definitely seen it before, but I hadn’t made anything that required it. When you go hunting for it, check the stamping aisle. I know it seems like a bit of an odd location, but trust me. You’ll likely find it there. With supplies gathered, I used Homemade by Jen’s tutorial. I completed this craft with ease. I did have to exercise some patience while the Glossy Accents dried. Just to be on the safe side, I let them dry/cure overnight. One word of caution: do NOT shake your Glossy Accents! This creates air bubbles that do not magically disappear while it dries. Unlike Homemade by Jen, I did add findings to make them more wearable. I used cord crimps with loops, jumps rings, and a lobster clasp. Having completed these, I’m now on the hunt for more things to embellish with Glossy Accents!
